The "βsystem" is an environmentally friendly ester-cured phenolic cold box molding process that does not use toxic gases. Compared to other gas-curing processes, it significantly reduces odors, smoke, and the generation of harmful gases during molding, pouring, and mold stripping, thereby improving the working environment both inside and outside the factory. Utilizing the characteristics of dihydroxy diphenyl sulfone (DHDPS), we have developed various anionic water-soluble resins!

Our flagship product, "4,4’-Dihydroxy diphenyl sulfone (DHDPS)," has an electron-withdrawing sulfonyl group at its center, which gives the hydroxyl groups at both ends a very strong hydrogen bonding capability compared to ordinary compounds like phenol, cresol, and tannic acid. Focusing on the characteristics of "DHDPS," we have developed various anionic water-soluble resins by copolymerizing it with sulfonic acid compounds. Nylon fixing agent (fixation treatment for acid dyes)

Our "water-soluble phenolic resin" strongly bonds and adheres to nylon fibers and acidic dyes.

As an example of the applications of our water-soluble phenolic resin, we would like to introduce the "Nylon Fixing Agent." Our water-soluble phenolic resin is a resol resin made from dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone (DHDPS) and phenol sulfonic acid. DHDPS has an electron-withdrawing sulfonyl group at its center, which gives it a much stronger hydrogen bonding capability at both ends compared to ordinary compounds like phenol, cresol, or tannic acid, allowing it to form strong hydrogen bonds with the azo groups of acid dyes. By utilizing the ionic bonding strength between the terminal amino groups of nylon fibers and the sulfonic acid groups of the water-soluble phenolic resin, as well as the hydrogen bonding strength between the azo groups of acid dyes and the hydroxyl groups of the water-soluble phenolic resin, we can fix the dye to the fibers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*
